I have had this laptop for about 5 hours now, and absolutely love it. So far, I've formatted the computer and installed Windows 7 Ultimate (I do this with all my computers), used the driver CD to install all of the required drivers, and I'm having absolutely no problems whatsoever. I have yet to play any games on it, but once I have everything downloaded and installed, I will add more to this review.
EDIT: I have had no problems with it, and I'm running Battlefield 3 on high settings at around 30FPS. It runs very cool. Overall, I think it was a great purchase. Plus, the fact that ASUS stands by their product so much that they include a 1 year warranty including Accidental Damage put it over the top.

I became a fan of ROG computers after i did my first purchase (g51jx), selecting it over an alienware based on cost/benefit. Since then, i now choose it for its quality.
I will do a quick review, just to give my opinion!
This laptop is great, extremelly cool and silent, and runs games at max settings with no problem at all. Im currently mainly running swtor on it, with all settings to max (except AA and shadows on medium) and it gets me a steady 60fps.
Great screen, great feel to the keyboard, solid build, and the best of all, as it has its cooler system throwing hot air by its back, instead of down, and it catches its air from somewhere other than the bottom, u can put it in the bed, or cushion platforms w/o having overheating problems.
Love this baby, recomended!

Great performance, construction and pricetag! It's ASUS! I love it!
BUT... I have 2 things to complain about:
I dont know why ASUS's choice was the 128bits gtx 560 and not the 192bits... I saw in many forums zillions of problem about the magnet sensor that tell when the lid is closed or not, well, my asus came with this and i dont know how to permanently fix this problem, im in brazil and I cant sendo to RMA (global guarantee?? maybe not).
